Anyone else just loving the colours outside right now?
The light is just perfect for photos too...
This is by far my favourite season... the sun is shining, the air is crisp & cold and I'm snuggled up in my winter woollies.
Our attempt at growing our own this summer didn't come off too badly, despite still having a lot to learn! but we were always in supply of fresh lettuce, herbs and the odd little tomatoes & runner beans. Last week we gathered the remaining tomatoes that preferred being green and turned them into a yummy chutney. Our pear tree has done well this year too, so we baked them for tea, sprinkled with cinnamon, cloves & honey. So delicious!!
