Seeking to live more simply, consciously & creatively in every aspect of life - including her work. Sharing some of the ways in her blog, in which she also incorporates her love of photography & the arts & crafts.
She has been working as a photographer for over 10 years, during this time she has exhibited her work and set up a studio & photographic darkroom. Her style is creative & informal, choosing a natural environment over a studio set up.
Carolyn runs photography workshops for those wishing to take better pictures with their digital cameras and find their personal style.
With a keen interest in traditional craft. Carolyn's knitwear and crochet designs are simple & fuss free and focus on comfort, quality and function. She prefers to work with natural colours & materials.
More recently Carolyn has discovered a love for design and has worked on websites + logos for small businesses. As well as helping clients to develop brand identity & navigate social media.
She runs a biannual art, design & craft market with her friend in Birmingham, called The Paperdolls.
She lives in Birmingham with her husband and two daughters.
